Wollert and Officer also performed consistently well, suggesting buyers are still keen on Melbourne’s northern and south-eastern growth corridors. Both suburbs offer newer housing stock and remain relatively affordable compared to inner metro areas.

Clyde North and Tarneit held their ground in Q1, though Clyde North saw a slight dip in March. These suburbs are still highly sought after due to ongoing estates, community infrastructure, and access to major arterial roads.

Mulgrave had a standout performance in December but tapered off in the new year, while Greenvale climbed the ranks with a surge in March enquiries likely driven by its balance of space, greenery, and suburban convenience.

Notably, Sunbury and Wodonga entered the top ten this quarter, indicating buyer interest is expanding further into regional lifestyle areas with strong transport links back to Melbourne.

📈 Suburbs attracting strong buyer interest this quarter:

While suburbs like Deanside and Berwick saw a drop from Q4 standings, shifting affordability benchmarks and upcoming development stages may renew demand in these areas later in the year. As Q2 begins, Victoria’s outer-ring and regional lifestyle hubs are expected to remain in focus for budget-conscious buyers seeking space and growth potential.
