The Illawarra Shoalhaven Regional Plan 2041¹ features Illawarra-Shoalhaven Growth Areas governed by Shellharbour City Council, Wollongong City Council & Shoalhaven City Council. Some of the key town centres are Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama & Nowra. The regional plans must be updated every five years to reset priorities for the region for the next 20 years.
