The Everest 55 is a three-storey basement design home that offers a striking interpretation of modern family living. With a considered layout that spans from a functional lower-ground level to light-filled upper floors, this home embraces universal design principles whilst maintaining a strong sense of cohesion.
Refined from a soft industrial aesthetic, the Everest 55 features a bold material palette of concrete, steel and glass. These elements are balanced by a dramatic three storey stone feature wall that anchors the home both structurally and emotionally. This architectural centrepiece creates a powerful sense of continuity and defines the interior character.
Inside, the design is a sculpture of space. The entry is a focal point, where rooms are intersected by circulation. The Living room is immediately adjacent, and presents with drama, in opposition to the more intimate family spaces beyond the stone wall. A glass lift enhances both the experience and functionality of the home, offering ease of movement between floors while adding a dynamic quality to the vertical axis.
The northern spaces are particularly striking, with generous use of glass and skylights flooding the space with natural light. Careful design has curated northern light wherever possible, from the cutouts in the stone wall to the orientation of façade glazing. Windows have been designed for natural light to enter even the lift well, gently filtering down to the lower levels.
With its layered materials, architectural confidence, and top tier selections, The Everest 55 redefines what a home can be. It’s a residence designed to impress – where form and function align across three storeys to support a lifestyle of comfort and quiet sophistication.
