Introducing the Riverbend, a sprawling home cleverly sized for smaller frontages and urban blocks that encapsulates farmhouse style. The inviting front porch and side entries are open and welcoming, nestled beneath gables and flanked by rustic timber posts. The effect is a home that encourages the family to move freely, coming and going wherever is most natural.
These informal entries open into an expansive and open living space, accentuated by lofty raked ceilings and a central bush pole that adds a trademark touch of farmhouse appeal. At one end of the room is an expansive verandah, complementing the rustic charm; on the opposite side is a large alfresco, which acts as a natural extension of the room. Both aspects offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and saturate the room with natural light, ushering in plenty of fresh air.
The remainder of the home spreads out with intention. A large wing down one end collects the four bedrooms and a separate retreat – a versatile space that can be used as an activity nook or playroom. At the other end of the house sits a theatre and den, both positioned closer to the porch for separation from the bedrooms and central living space.
