11 Doon Court, Briar Hill VIC 3088 | , P1117/11 | /td> | 06/12/2011 | A large tree in the middle of the property which is at the end of its life has become a danger to the residents on the property. As a result of strong winds in November 2011 the top section of the tree broke off and fell onto the driveway near the house. This incident also dislodged a power cable from the power pole leading to the house, causing the power cable to lie across the driveway in front of the property. Since then, we have been notified on two further occasions by the tenants that additional large branches have fallen from sections of the tree. Due to the tree\'s proximity to the house and power line, we believe (and the tenants have expressed concern for their children) that the tree now poses a danger to anyone on the property, as several large sections are still damaged and barely attached to the trunk. We are seeking an immediate application to prune the tree and eventually remove this tree completely. | Application Submission |
